Over the 51 years in the ministry I have come across 1000’s of quotes and saying from many, many sources. I have them in sermons, the Weekly sermon cover letter, church bulletins and for my own edification. Over the next four Weekly SERMON cover letters I will share some of these and trust they will be a blessing to you. Here are Sixteen of those sayings:

Some saints spend more time sighing then singing.
Praise God He is not short of resources of any kind.
Even the Apostle Paul admitted he sometimes didn’t do what he wanted to do, and what he didn’t want to do, that he did.
Lord, I confess that my own heart too is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. Father, forgive me of the sin that has crept into my life. Forgive all.
In I Corinthians 9:24 we read, “Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.” Prepare now to run the whole race. Commit yourself to finishing with whatever strength and abilities you have, until your last breath.
It doesn’t do any good to internalize all our feelings when we should instead be letting others know of our needs.
Faithfulness in the small things will lead to blessings in the big things.
Pride is the stone over which many people stumble.
