As we enter the Easter week ask yourself this question – What Think Ye of Christ?

Pilate said, "I find no fault in Him at all."

Judas said, "I have sinned in that I have betrayed innocent blood."

The Centurion said, "Truly, this was the Son of God."

John the Baptist said, "Behold the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world."

Beloved John said, "He is the Bright and Morning Star."

Angels in Heaven said, "Unto you is born … a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord."

Paul said, "I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus…”

Doubting Thomas said, "My Lord and my God."

Peter said, "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the Living God."

Our Heavenly Father said, "This is My beloved Son in Whom I am well pleased."

Resolve To Do More: In John 10:10 we read, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy; I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” More! What a great word in the Bible.

Jesus came to give us life MORE abundantly.

Our faith is MORE precious than gold (1 Peter 1:7), and His Word is MORE to be desired than gold (Psalm 19:10).

His blessings to us are MORE than we can number (Psalm 40:5), so we should praise Him MORE and MORE (Psalm 71:14).

We are MORE than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37).

He gives MORE grace (James 4:6), so we should bear MORE fruit (John 15:2) and labor MORE abundantly (1 Corinthians 15:10).

Paul said, "to please God, so ye would abound MORE and MORE, (10) that ye increase MORE and MORE;…”

We ought to take our work for Christ more seriously than ever. We can't afford to live prioritized lives. We're living in the last days, and we should be more diligent than ever in fulfilling God's plan for every day. Review your calendar and evaluate your schedule. Are there things you need to delete or undertake for Christ? Let's resolve to do more for the kingdom. And as you do remember Eliza E. Hewitt’s hymn “More about Jesus would I know, more of His grace to others show; More of His saving fullness see, more of His love who died for me.”

Here is a “SPIRITUAL DIET" you ought to consider:

MILK: from 1 Peter 2:2 "Desire the sincere milk of the Word, that ye may grow thereby."

BREAD: from Matthew 4:4, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God."

MEAT: from Hebrews 5:13-14, "Strong meat belongeth to them that are skilled in the Word."

DESSERT: From Psalm 19:9-10 "The Word of the Lord . . .is sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb."

Have you noticed as strong, fervent preaching of the Word of God has diminished, and lost popularity, the demand for counselors has gone up!  Hmmmmmmm!

In His Amazing Grace,

Pastor David Miklas
